New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 110cm

Posted on Sunday 24th December 2023 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

The snow eased off yesterday morning and we even got some clearer weather at moment. I think most people were concentrating on enjoying the fresh snow.

The Paradise quad and ski run are now both available.

For now, lower areas of the ski area are not yet open and you need to get a gondola back down to base.

This morning we have some sunshine and it looks like it will be a fine day. A cold start and all being well it will remain fairly cold. It looks like the next snowfall is due around Wednesday.

Below, Naski spotted on skis. Just look at that big lovely smile!

PS Santa-san should be on the slopes today... and he has presents. A very kind and jolly chap, indeed.
