In their update at 3pm yesterday the ski area was reporting light rain at base and light snow up on the top areas, along with 1cm of snow. This morning they are reporting 8cm at Yamabiko and Uenotaira. There's just a 'dusting-plus' down at base areas (though actually as of 8am the ski area is reporting 0cm) and trees are looking frosted.
Light snow early morning with a mostly just cloudy day expected today. It should keep cold and not get much above zero.
Warmer conditions due from Wednesday onwards once again.
