Yesterday afternoon the ski area said they had 5-8cm of fresh snow on the upper areas. By mid-afternoon we were enjoying some sunshine and lots of blue skies. No additional fresh snow is being reported overnight.


We are starting this morning with the sun shining down on us too. There's thin cloud about (different from the more fluffy kind that remained yesterday afternoon), but it's nice and bright at the start of the day.


Spring lift tickets are available from Monday 28th March.


Fresh snowfall recorded by the ski area (since yesterday morning):

- Yamabiko (1615m): 8cm

- Uenotaira (1407m): 5cm

- Hikage (660m): 0cm

- Nagasaka (616m): 0cm

- Karasawa (563m): 0cm


Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):


- Yamabiko (1615m): 345cm
