Looks like it is going to be a fine morning. Some cloud around but some (and increasing) blue sky.
While it is cold early morning, it appears that today is going to be warmer than it has been of late. Hopefully not too much of course, and temps might rise to around +4C during the day.
It will get colder by tonight and all being well there will be more fresh snow to report tomorrow.
Fresh snowfall reported by the ski area at 7am (since yesterday morning):
- Yamabiko: 5cm
- Uenotaira: 9cm
- Hikage: 5cm
- Nagasaka: 5cm
- Karasawa: 0cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):
- Yamabiko: 260cm
- Uenotaira: 210cm
- Hikage: 180cm
- Nagasaka: 175cm
- Karasawa: 135cm
All lifts now normally operating except these lifts:
- Mizunashi triple (not confirmed yet this morning)
- Yunomine pair (not confirmed yet this morning)
- Karasawa pair (not confirmed yet this morning)
- Challenge pair (usually closed on weekdays)
- Utopia pair (usually closed on weekdays)
All courses are now open except the following:
- Yunimine A
- Challenge 39
- Grandprix
- Kandahar (restrictions)
- Kamoshika
