New snowfall at base 29cm
Snowfall at base this season 571cm
Posted on Sunday 10th March 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.
What a few days it is turning out to be!
The ski area has reported another 20-30cm since yesterday afternoon - and that is not including what they reported during the day (I missed that, sorry). So there is another impressive amount of fresh snow across the mountain this morning.
Right now it is snowing lightly and visibility is limited in higher areas (that might improve during the day).
We might see some sun tomorrow morning. What a day that will be! I totally recommend taking a holiday.
Fresh snowfall since yesterday afternoon (reported by the ski area):
Yamabiko: 25cm
