A nice sunny morning today, but one with lots of signs of change ahead.
High, thin clouds cover the sky, and the wind is warm - typical conditions before it (rain) arrives. Looks like it could start late this afternoon/evening, and continue through tomorrow. After that, things get very strange, as the freezing line moves way up past the peak of Myoko on Saturday night, then comes shooting down on Sunday with snow.... Could be some pretty strong winds up in the hills, so not an ideal time for backcountry travel.
But there's still a good snowpack out there! Get out, support your local (or favorite) hill, which hopefully is located around the base of Mt. Myoko (bit of local boosterism; sorry, but it is beautiful out there today).
