New snowfall at base 30cm
Snowfall at base this season 322cm
Posted on Sunday 5th January 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
A pretty good snowfall overnight - not as great as a lot of us would have liked, but maybe 30-40cm in places, though resorts posting smaller updates. The snow keeps on falling this morning, and it was pretty cold for the daily ritual of using heavy machinery to clear frozen water; about -5 at 6 am.
Light winds from the north, some fog higher.
No heavy snow on the forecast until later in the week, but some sun around Tuesday for those who like that shiny stuff. Your writer awaits zero visibility due to snow and the need for snorkels.
