Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 7cm
Snowfall at base this season 1201cm

Posted on Tuesday 5th February 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

Kind of a dust on crust morning today, although the crust is not all that bad and will probably improve with this morning's sun and its warmth.

About 7 centimeters of fresh today, on top of about 30cm of really wet snow.

Out in the trees, maybe not so much fun, but a great day for the groomers (hey, you can always improve that turn of yours!).

Make friends with a liftie, enjoy a cold one in the sun. Etc.
