Another day with a clear start, and clouds starting to come in over Mt. Myoko. A wild change of weather midday yesterday; it was sunny and nice right around noon, when a wall of fog came up from the valley and brought visibility down to just a few meters. Some people up on the mountain said they were literally skiing from tree to tree as a group, just to keep from getting lost.
There's a crunchy crust on the snow, with just a few centimeters of sticky new snow on top. On piste it should be great; those heading out from the areas will probably not have a great day (especially with visibility being obscured).
Tomorrow it looks to be even warmer, and then there's the possibility of heavy snow starting late tomorrow and into Sunday. Maybe. Mountain weather, huh?
