The dust has moved on to the east, some snow fell — but not much. We were hoping for a nice fall of fresh stuff to cover up the dust and maybe start getting ready of the crust on the surface of the snow. But we haven't gotten that much yet, and the sun keeps popping out, so it doesn't look like a powder day in Myoko today.
For the backcountry people, it's that transitional period now, isn't it? It would be great to have a nice heavy snowfall, even if it's heavy spring snow, but it would also be nice for the snow to just settle down and firm up so we could get some good spring skiing in.
But let's not be negative! There's a ton of snow on the hill, and lots of time left to enjoy it. There's always something to do on the snow, whatever the condition, right?
