The next weather cycle has in fact arrived, with blowing snow and temperatures back in the minus again.


It's not as blustery as earlier this morning (although we do have new cornices on the snowpack outside the house, and drifts alongside the car).


Lifts are running fine now (checked on the Akakan gondola; no warnings from Suginohara this morning). It's nice to have things a little cleaner and whiter - it would be great to get 30+cm and really enjoy some light snow, but I doubt that much will fall.


The local forecast is for the snow to taper off later in the day.
