Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 991cm

Posted on Wednesday 21st January 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

The day started really clear and blue today (and a bit colder, too).

It's still mostly sunny, although there is a high layer of thin clouds up there now.

Could be a bit of calm before the storm; it's getting warmer, with the possibility of some rain later today and into tomorrow, changing to potentially heavy snow tomorrow.
