Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 43cm

Posted on Monday 20th November 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

It's still pre-season, so I wasn't really going to add more reports for awhile. But when we get another 20 cm, I have to say something! It's almost the end of the day now, and it is still snowing a bit. The weather report says it probably won't last, but I guess we can all share the fun of the pre-season, up to the time the doors open and we're out on the hill (although a few brave/foolhardy folks were out there today, hiking up and bouncing their way down the slopes—there's lots of stuff under that snow!)
