New snowfall at base 53cm
Snowfall at base this season 853cm
Posted on Wednesday 20th January 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.
A night of cold temperatures, blowing snow and another good addition to the snowpack. Just barely missed making it one meter over two days (but enough snow so the drifts outside my house were up to my shoulder, and I'm not a short guy....).
A really nice morning now, with very light snow still falling and a touch of sun just barely coming out now and again.
There's a lot of loose snow out there, so anybody heading out offpiste should keep an eye out for sluffing, especially if a tumble could take you into a valley.
The snow should start to settle now with a bit of sun, though.
