Snowfall at base this season 1310cm

Strong north winds through the day and especially in the evening yesterday. Colder than recent days as well, with minus numbers posted, We got about 2 cm of round pellets at base up to the morning; it was trying to snow earlier but we’re now seeing some blue patches here and there. I actually hope the forecast are correct and we get some sun to warm up that snowpack; it’s a bit crusty out in the natural snow and looks like it would be hard to get some nice, elegant turns in (more like hop and hope?). It would just be nice on the resorts, too, to go back to some sunny spring skiing for a few days before we go back to rain and snow. Or so it appears.
