Snow is falling at base level; the first of the season! It's not a lot, it's barely white, but it's snow. A quick peek through the fog this morning also showed some pretty white slopes up on the hill. It's going to be another month at least until lift actually start moving--most likely, barring the big falls that can happen (what a pathetic prediction for you right there), but it's always nice to see the snow.
Nothing much else to say as we enjoy the waiting game. It feels wintery; all the prep work still isn't finished (think two or three times before you really consider buying a lovely guest house in this roof- and tree-crushing snow country, unless you're ready to hire a bunch of locals), but somehow we get things more or less in order so we stay warm, the decorations don't disappear by spring and we get out and play on the hills.
