Snowfall at base this season 111cm

Posted on Saturday 13th December 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

Snow is falling this morning, although not (yet) the heavy fall that was forecast as possible for the day. We've gotten a few cm since last night, at least, and it looks like it might be picking up a bit now.

And today is the first day of lift operations at both Suginohara and Akakura Onsen—the rascals snuck in on us there. The season has now officially (if somewhat quietly) begun!

Akakura Onsen:

65cm, -1/-3°

Kumado No. 1, 4, 5 lifts
