Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 401cm

Posted on Saturday 11th January 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

Yesterday turned out to be sunny after all that snow.

Just a few centimeters of snow overnight here, though Suginohara are reporting up to 30cm higher up since yesterday, and some sun on the hill as we get ready for the next storm cycle to arrive.

Looks like some colder temperatures as we enter next week; snow is likely for several days; let's hope it's a lot!

First day of the long weekend in Japan so it's going to be a busy one.
