Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 31cm
Snowfall at base this season 964cm

Posted on Sunday 10th March 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

March madness continues!! (I wish I had suitable theme music for this kind of thing).

Almost the same snowfall as yesterday, meaning some of the best snow of the season. I will smugly say I predicted this: most of our international friends have departed, and the snow has finally started to fall for more than one day in a row.

It could be sunny tomorrow, the forecast says, then back to snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. (OK, maybe some rain in there, but let's hope).
