Snowfall at base this season 424cm

Waiting for snow, then a bit of snow; these cycles are starting to get to me.

We got some snow overnight - 16 cm at the base of Akakan - but we're still waiting for those endless days of non-stop snowing that is more, well, Myoko-y.

This week looks like it could all turn around, though, so while today's light snow was welcome, it looks like a lot of fun ahead. Heavy snow, high winds... oh yeah (just be careful if it does start building up really fast with lots of wind, if you're in the backcountry).
