New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 188cm

Posted on Monday 4th January 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Hello from... Matsumoto.

Doh!

But I have friends in Hakuba and with the help of one of those along with webcams, here's the report.

The most snow being reported this morning is 10cm from the upper areas of Hakuba 47. Just a little snow down below and light snow falling this morning.

Forecasts seem to be showing more of the same the next few days with perhaps some special appearances by The Sun, with a return to some decent snowfall coming from around Thursday. The encouraging pattern to the weather this season continues.
