Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 186cm
Posted on Sunday 3rd January 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
Good morning from Hakuba.
The snow clouds remain over the region with resorts reporting varying amounts of fresh snow... up top, 10-15cm at Hakuba 47 and 35cm at Cortina.
Snow should be easing off today and perhaps we will have a few days of just cloud with the chance of light snow at times... possibly some periods of clearer skies. Going to be slightly milder up to around Thursday but hopefully keep cold to keep the snow in great condition.
