New snowfall at base 6cm
Snowfall at base this season 91cm

Good morning everyone.
More good news from Hakuba this morning, and I am indeed revved up. Though kind of wishing I could be out for first tracks. ;)
I was up at Happo-one yesterday; it got windy in the afternoon they had to close the upper lifts.
This morning there is fresh snow on the ground. I have measured 6cm of fresh snowfall at base and the resorts are generally reporting around 5cm at base and 15-20cm up top.
The Hakuba Cortina resort is showing 30cm up top and 30cm at base too, which is interesting. I like the sound of that, whatever!
There is a bit of a northerly wind this morning but all resorts look like they are open as planned.
The snowfall should ease off during the day today and sunshine is forecast for tomorrow.
Thursday and Friday is going to bring some warmth to most of Japan (boooo) but we can hope for a colder weekend, perhaps with more fresh snow.
Have fun. Take care.
