Good morning everyone.
I was up at Hakuba 47 yesterday morning. It was good to have snow falling up top but as lunchtime approached it has turned to more sleet-like and then rain; like down below at base.
No new cm of snow to report this morning. There's lots of cloud around; there has been some light rain in places down below earlier. Right now higher up there seems to be brighter areas with some blue sky and even some sunshine breaking through.
Rain or sun? I'll take the sun please. I realise that many people are here to enjoy themselves - and they are indeed enjoying themselves. For those people, and not just myself, I hope for the best conditions possible. Obviously.
OK, so I am looking at forecasts and it looks like there's some snowy goodies lined up for early week. Might February be our fave months of the year? I hope so!
