The weekend proved to be pretty good overall with a decent amount of fresh snow being deposited on Saturday and then to a lesser amount on Sunday. This seemed to bring the powder hounds out of the woodwork with many turning up with skis the width of a snowboard. Sunday's temperatures were pretty warm which look likely to be repeated again today. This made very pleasant weather to ski in in terms of not having to deal with the usual Furano cold, however the warmth got to the snow pack so expect some mild frosty areas out on the mountain today. Overall it looks like another great day with blue skies and mild temperatures. The next significant snowfall is forecast for Thursday night through Friday.
