Today was unseasonably warm with a high of -2, some of the warmest weather we've seen all year. The flakes were flying off and on, but we didn't see anything too major in the way of accumulations. We got a rough total of 5cm of fresh, and the slopes were happier for it. For those of you winding down the day with night skiing, getting in a few runs, you are really in for a treat temperature-wise. The winds are present at 2-4 m/s, but nothing too terrible to worry about.
Tomorrow should be more of the same warm(ish) weather, with the clouds moving out around daybreak, leaving nothing but sun and blue skies, a stark contrast from today's cloudy weather. It looks like Furano is in for another bluebird day tomorrow!
