It was cold one overnight, but a blast of snow earlier this morning was a good way to wake up to the weekend. We saw about 5-10cm of the fluffiest, softest snow around, and those out on the mountain were in for a real treat. Things have quieted down a bit since then, but the forecast calls for cloudy skies, the occasional snow shower, and a bit of a warm trend with highs that will take us near -4. Compared to yesterday's high of -11, that's practically a heat wave. Warmer temperatures generally mean bigger snowflakes, so hopefully we will see some significant snowfall accumulations over the next few days.
