It has started to snow in Furano but the accumulation has not been anything significant and at best there is only a very light dusting visible at base level. The weather is currently cloudy with very light snow falling. Visibility is good on the lower mountain but at upper levels there will be some areas of flat light. Temperatures have hit a chilly -20c in the village and are even colder higher up on the mountain, but we can be thankful that there is no wind to cool things down even more. The forecast is still showing snow through today and tomorrow.
