It has been a perfect morning in Furano with clear skies, no wind and the sun shining. The pistes started off firm but started to soften up very nicely in the mid morning sun. There was no new snow at base level but on the upper mountain there was significant enough snowfall to almost cover up tracks in some of the ungroomed areas. The mountain is fairly quiet today except for school groups on the lower slopes.
