Happy New Year from Furano!
If you have headed out for first lifts this morning you will not have had to share the mountain with many others. There was a distinct lack of people for the 8:30am start to the lifts on the Kitanomine side. I am sure the crowds will make it up after they have a couple of hours extra rest.
There is only a dusting of new snow to report this morning. It looks like a pretty good day with high overcast conditions and no wind. All trails are open except Dynamic.
Looking to the week ahead there is nothing significant on the snow front, with only light dustings of snow expected on and off.
