It is a nice Sunday morning but very chilly at -11c in town.


Above is broken cloud with blue sky and the sun is hitting the resort. Since yesterday there is a further 6cm of snow to report and on piste conditions are very good. With more terrain having been opened up in the last few days, the Furano Zone is open from peak to base.


It is snowing very very lightly at the moment. At base there is no wind and at the top is a light breeze. Being a Sunday expect some queues for Furano Ropeway in the morning until people spread out.
