More lifts and courses have opened on the Furano Zone and the skiing is now from the top all the way down to base. Downhill Romance 3 chair gives access from the top of Furano Ropeway to the peak of Furano Zone.
Around the base areas there is strong wind. 24cm of new snow has fallen in the village and there is high cloud with big clear breaks of blue sky. No precipitation is coming down at the moment but the forecast is for more snow through the day.
Needless to say it will be a cold day out there with -13c at the top combined with strong wind.
