Furano Ski Area will not be able to open tomorrow on 17 November as originally proposed. More snow is needed to be able to commence operations.


Things are looking positive for the weekend weather though. The forecast is for snow on the upper mountain from this evening through to Sunday evening. Temperatures on the upper mountain are now below freezing and look to stay that way over the weekend and through next week.
