is it cheaper to buy snowboard in aus or japan?

some1 told me that snowboard equipment is cheaper in japan..is that true..can some1 advise me as i consider buying b4 goin to niseko

If you get one in the sales (usually after a season) you can get some really good prices here - like 70% off. So the full price might be expensive, but you can get something for under 20,000 if you're lucky.

I think cheaper for last years stuff but size can be a problem if you waant something over about 161.
