TheOrange 0
For some reason I seem to be getting loads of unwanted advertising popups coming up every time I use the internet. And my frigging Favorites folder has got loads of new shit in there that I have nothing to do with. So what the hecks going on? Anyone with any ideas and tips on how to get rid of this annoyance
big-will 7
Sounds like you got some "spyware" or something on your system there. Too much porn surfing I reckon Try the free adaware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ - that did the trick with me.

brit-gob 9
Be careful saying "yes" to any downloads you're not sure about. A complete pain these things.
slaphead 0
Pay up and have it running in the background. Good application that one.
Roger's head 0
Do those ad like things do anything more sinister than display ads when I don't want them?
merryJim 1
Orange-san I had the same problem a while back and used that software, it got rid of the problem really quick. Give it a go.
MistaSparkle 0
Check out adaware... posted in that link above, and switch to a popup blocking browser, if you're still using MS Internet explorer. I would reccomend either the mozilla browser, or mozilla firebird (their next gen browser). Ive used firebird for the last 10 months or so and havent seen a popup since.
