stripper on coke 0 Posted September 8, 2004 Share Posted September 8, 2004 I'm moving back to Oz soon, and was wondering if anyone here has had dealings or has friends/contacts who work for freight or shipping companies. I want to send my car, jetski and personal belongings all back. I was thinking of getting a 20 foot container and putting it all in there. have any of you sent cars/equipment overseas from Japan ? If so, do you remember which company you used ? I have been through the usual channels and I've got quotes from some companies. the quotes range to about Y600,000, but I know the cost of a container to Australia is only about US$1,400. He had to have a list of exactly what was in every box for customs ( hassle) 600,000 seems a bit rich. as for what company he used... dunno! sorry! Link to post Share on other sites
