My wife ordered a new laptop, and i will finally get my computer to myself.

So, last weekend we went to Yamadadada and bought a router, to share the adsl line.

but the firmware and manual is in japanese, and there is no documentation or english firmware updates to get anywhere. and i really dont read kanji \:\(

after one week of hard nearding i have given up.

anyone tried foregin produced routers with NTT's flets adsl modems, or have suggestions?

your help is needed and appriceated

Too Orangey For Crows, no i'm using us xp.

I know i can just plug another netcard in my pc and have it acting as a proxyserver, but i don't want to leave it on all the time.

sakebomb, the link seems to be dead, or is it my router? ;\)

Thunderpants, the link doesn't work sorry, it contains a bad word which seems to kill the link due to censorship, I PM'ed you with the link with a description on how to get it to work. Just type in the bad word without the spaces! Good Luck
