connackers 0
Try this thread http://www.skijapanguide.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/1/4140.html?#000000 And this link http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2355.html Went from Maizuru to Otaru which was overnight and took 20 hours. Cheap and bearable, but only just. Get a bed not a shared tatami room. Though Aomori to Hokkaido probably won`t take long at all and shouldn`t be hit too bad by rough seas. gamera 0
LOL Sakebomb Stepchild, if any ferry available from Niigata, maybe it's the best way for you, I guess. Don't think it easy to go across the Tsugaru Straits, that is the hardest straits in Japan. The weather is a lot often rough there. Easily get sea sick. Hey Sakebomb, when you go to Aomori across the Tsugaru Straits by ferry, how it goes? Always calm or often rough?
