nzlegend 1 Posted December 2, 2006 Share Posted December 2, 2006 According to the travel agency JTB, the forecast is going to be for a warm winter and there will be no snow in Nagano for the New Years break! A couple of recent arrivees to Japan that I work with just went to the JTB office next to work and investigated some NY ski packages and the JTB woman told them not to bother going to Nagano as there will be no snow! Very odd for a travel agent who would usually be trying to peddle as many extras and upgrades as possible to be so straightforward and alarming pessimistic. They came back and told me the story and were alarmed and are reconsidering booking a trip. Very odd. Has anyone heard of this gloomy forecast? seems very bizarre to me.
