Leroybrown 0
Hi all. Went to Niseko in late Jan/early Feb and overall my impression was that Niseko was a great place with good onpiste terrain and wide variety of accessible offpiste terrain and ofcourse heaps of snow. However this year I am keen on Honshu. Really I have only just discovered Honshu via the internet. Until about 2 weeks ago I had no idea Honshu had so much skiing even though I have already skied on Hokkaido. I want to ski both Hakuba and Shiga Kogen and would appreciate any recommendations on accommodation in either of these areas. Also I would appreciate any advice on the luggage situation as I hear reports that lugging around skis, boots and decent size bag can be a problem on public transport. If you have been there, done that!! I would love your advice. Leroy.
