mfurmane 0
I will be staying near Sun Alpina this wknd and was hoping to take in a day at Hakuba 47/Goryu. Is anyone familiar with travelling between these two locations via ski-bus, taxi, etc.? I will not have a car. Any advice will be greatly appreciated as I am in need of as much help as I can get. THANKS!!!

Markie 0
Sun Alpina, isn't that the same as Sanosaka. I want to buy a house there, on the banks of Lake Aoki.
mfurmane 0
Thanks Fattwins....any idea how long the commute might be? Meaning, is this a reasonable journey?
NoFakie 45
It's maybe two or three stops on the train, but they don't go very often. It could be a two-hour wait if you miss one! The train stops pretty close to the Kashimayari (and Sanosaka?) part of Sun Alpina and then at Kamishiro for the main part of Goryu. Its a long slog up the hill so get the free shuttle bus from Kamishiro station.
