lin 0
...to use on my skis (or board I presume, but I'm a skier myself). I don't really know much about this kind of thing, so I was wondering if there is more to it than I imagine. thanks lin
IM 0
There seem to two kinds of wax on market now. Hot wax type: the one you melt onto the base. The best way, but takes time (or money if you have someone else do it for you). Spray/liquid type: the easiest way, but only last for 1/2 day or so, and performance is much left to be desired. others: like graphite powder, etc. I consider them speciality type and don't bother. I hot wax every time I go skiing (or boarding). Many shops host clinics in fall.
Ocean11 0
Among hot waxes, there are also several kinds. You apply them according to the temperature of the snow you're going to be riding on. The materials used in the waxes also differ considerably.
