Guest
Unless you are in Hokkaido the season seems to be over, in Niigata over the weekend was like boarding on a slurpee....... Don't everybody start flaming me over this, just wanted to start a new topic.
frannyo 2
Well you were successful in "starting your new topic" werent you? The only thing I can say on this is....OK the best of the season is over. The snow will deteriorate from now. If you are willing to accept that and go out with that in mind, then there are another 6-8 weekends of riding out there. In usually excellent weather. I still think it will snow again a bit a few more times. But anyway. So you can choose.
rach 1
Agreed with frannyo on this one. The season has almost 2 more months to run at some places. Yes, the snow may be close to terrible by then, but you can choose whether to go out or not. If you keep that in mind, you can really enjoy yourself in the fair heat of May even. Up to you. barok 0
slush riding is actually only third best next to riding on powder and riding on freshly groomed powder (from the night before). riding on the ice sucks. the slush is way more forgiving on the falls and on landings. and it can be sooo nice riding in the sun in a t-shirt. Matt 0
It'll dump again. You just have to be there the day after before it turns to mush.
