We're glad to see that we already have over 20 member pages online and more coming in. We hope more and more will be added and this will become a popular area to post and share ideas as the season starts.

 

UPLOADING PHOTOS

If you upload a large photo, it will be scaled down automatically on your member page, but may suffer in quality as a result of that process.

 

If you want to have your photos keep their quality, keep them to about the sizes that they display on the member pages, and they will be displayed "as they are".

I am still gathering photos for my members page, I know other cheesefans will be looking forward to it. Maybe early next week.

Any guidelines for recommended max sizes (X pixels high by Y pixels wide)?

A width of up to 245 pixels (L>R) should see your photos shown "as is". Top to bottom isnt so much a problem but try to keep them under 300 pixels.

This may help as a guide:

 

I uploaded as size 320x240 (don't know the units). They are a little blurred, but only slightly smaller than they appeared on my desktop.

I cut pics from my video and diji cam. Maybe I sent big ones meaning larger than they are suposed to be. My camcorder cuts them to 640 to480 size, is this to big. The quality is the same (low) because its off a video camera, the quality is about as good as its going to get on the web page, until I get a better editing program. Some other pics are off the wifes diji cam if they are to big tell me and I will try to size them down.
