In the meantime, Niseko enjoyed a bit of snowfall and the first Niseko Now report of the season has appeared: http://www.snowjapan.com/japan-daily-snow-weather-reports/niseko-now As always, there'll be some reports before the season gets going in the different regions, and then daily reports once the ski lifts start moving.
