Tensai 0 Posted December 20, 2002 Share Posted December 20, 2002 So I picked up a local JTB (I think) ski/snowboard tour brochure and saw something they called "Mystery Tour" package. From what I could translate or get help with it is a day trip where you meet up at the bus station (either shinjuku or ikebukuro) and they take you to some ski/snowboard location (you don't know where, hence the name "mystery"). The total fare is 6400 Yen which includes the lift ticket and bus fare. You get a discounted rental fee of 1000 yen. The only catch is that you can only go from Sunday through Thursday, starts January 5, 2003. Just wanted to know if any of you have every done anything like this before. I am curious to know what kind of places they have gone in the past. I'll see if i can find out more about this thing. Worst case scenario is that I try this thing and get burned...
