zwelgen 0 Posted January 15, 2003 Share Posted January 15, 2003 yeah I carry mine mostly to track down friends out on the slopes but I find the battery goes down really quickly in the cold. I totally and utterly lost my ski the other week in the middle of a massive steep powder slope and a Japanese guy stopped and helped me and he used his phone to call a mate who went to get the patrol to help me. If you are riding alone, it could be a potential lifesaver if something goes wrong. I keep it sealed in a plastic bag in my pocket, ziplock bag...sweet as Link to post Share on other sites
