pie-eater 207
Bye-bai Daisuke-kun 旅犬! Daisuke-kun, one of Japan's most popular pet celebrities, has died, the two TV companies that broadcasted the dog's popular show, announced on Nov. 30.The 6-year-old Labrador retriever was the main "cast" member of BS Japan and TV Tokyo's popular travel show "Daisuke-kun ga iku! Pochi tama shin pet no tabi," ("Itinerant Dog Daisuke's Trip"). Daisuke-kun had succeeded his father, Masao, who was the travel dog of the show's former edition, five years ago. According to the two sources, Daisuke-kun underwent a successful gastric torsion operation, but died on Nov. 29 after his condition took a turn for the worse. "I know your charm more than anyone else in the whole world. You can now play with your dad as much as you want," Daisuke-kun's partner in the show, comedian Hideki Matsumoto, commented in a written statement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbxuDivGX3g&feature=related

Down to that little travelling monkey now..... sakura? Sakura has been reclaimed by her original owner, as of last week or the week before. Daigo was all a-sniffle over that sudden development.
