As you might expect many regions of Japan have been affected by the terrible events going on in North East Japan. Due to electricity saving policies, many resorts that are open on Honshu are seeing limited operations. Resorts on the northern island of Hokkaido seem to be largely unaffected by all of this.

 

If you are planning on going somewhere we strongly advise you to contact the resorts directly.
