Ezorisu 0
Just a little heads-up for you day-trippers in Sapporo, the early season bus from metropolitan Sapporo out to Kokusai from 20 November to 12 December is only operating on weekends and National holidays for the 2010/2011 season, as opposed to every day in the 2009/2010 season. The same holds true for the late season buses running from 04 April through 05 May. No weekday riding/skiing for you! High season buses will operate daily. Check out the "access" tab on their Nihongo site for more info (there is literally only a course map on their English site).
thursday 1
cut backs. Too few people go, cut the buses. Maybe they'll get a cab instead.
Yuki's Passion 1
I wonder if that will draw a bigger crowd to Teine? Teine is pretty easy to get to even without wheels.
Ezorisu 0
Teine opened on the 20th this year also, but they've been on the "weekends and holidays" bus schedule for early and late season since I can remember. They may be open during the week, but that's a fairly hefty cab fare away. If you don't have a private vehicle, the only place you can really get to in the early season on a weekday is Onze via their free shuttle from Miyanosawa, but Onze doesn't open every day - it's really "weather permitting" with them before the snow fills out in mid December. I guess if price wasn't an issue, on a weekday, one could catch a local bus to Jouzankei then taxi it up to Sapporo Kokusai.
